What to Expect?

Soomaa National Park is world famous for its 5th season. Come see why.
You will have a surreal experience of paddling in a picturesque park of old majestic oak trees, in a forest of white birches, on fields and meadows.

We offer 2 options:

1. Rent a kayak with all necessary equipment to go exploring on your own.
   30€ per kayak
   7:15-9:45 sunrise fog and morning glory
   9:45 – 12:15
   14:45 – 17:15
2. Join our guided kayak tour with an experienced tour guide.
   50€ per kayak
   12:15 – 14:45

In Soomaa, we only work with prepaid bookings made via our booking system. The available dates can be found inside the booking system. The dates depend on the water and weather conditions.

After receiving your booking and our automatic confirmation e-mail, we will send you all necessary information and locations via e-mail. Please, provide correct phone numbers. In Soomaa, it is possibe that we have to change meeting points operatively if conditions change.

Price and Group Size

Kayak rental: 30€/ kayak
Kayak rental with a tour guide: 50€/ kayak
Max 20 participants per 1 time slot.

Difficulty and Compatibility

Suitable for everyone. Previous kayaking experience is not a must. Suitable from the age of 8. Guided tour is 6-10km.

How to Prepare?

Clothing: layered clothing according to the weather and preferably a head covering. Gloves, sunglasses, bottle of water, something warm to sit on (sheep skin, plastic seat cover, towel, etc). If possible, wear hiking shoes instead of rubber boots, or water shoes.
